I was reading an article about the economics of Jane Austen and how... I do want to talk about that because I think it's kind of ridiculous. So yeah she had like a big old family. Um the Bennett's are mom and dad five daughters. Oh okay so not quite not in the same economic stratosphere but she was like seven brothers or something. That's a lot of people but no the Bennett's have no sons. Okay so I'm sure that's true which informs her mom a little bit but I want to they are all membersLike Austen's family and the Bennett'sAre all on the lower fringes of the landed gentry.
