What's Grounding Across the Bill and the Law?
The bill and now law define scientifically based reading research and evidence based literacy instruction. Higher ed has to adhere to those definitions as does K-12, as does the content that we are developing for parents and families. The state was already getting some pressure to change in the areas of teacher prep and assessment work for teachers but this gave them a little sigh of relief.
