Romeo is coming as this religious pilgrim to Juliet and he's kissing her in the famous balcony scene. A couple scenes ago he had just said if I change religions I should be burnt as a heretic but when he sees Juliet more does he call her a holy shrine a torch? He says she teaches a torch to her bride so Romeo is gonna be burnt as an heretic because he's gonna be enveloped with the flames of Juliet. If you take a pen and go through act one and then all the way up to act two scene two and circle every line or phrase that has religious conversion with paganism later on in this scene, it will make sense.
