How to Get Faster at Reading

i think paradoxically, like to get faster at reading and be able to read more, you do have to take these practices that at first are going to slow you down in a lot of ways. But overtime, those will accumulate to a general sort of proficiency, almost building a habit out of it. And cultivating and getting to that point, i think it's really the goal.
