You’re Not Going To Complete All Your Tasks, And That’s Okay.

Your Time, Your Way

CHAPTER

The 2 Plus 8 Prioritization Method

If you have 15 tasks to complete today and only manage to complete 10, is that really a problem? To me, no, it isn't. As long as you manage to do the most important tasks, you made progress. Having a 66% success rate is better than a 0% success rate. With the 2 plus 8 prioritization method, there is an implied acceptance that you will not complete everything. The point of the method is to train you to know what your priorities are. When you accept that you may not be able to complete all your tasks each day, you will sense a huge weight coming off your shoulders.
