i don't think one can reject the notion that psychology is not always rational. We are not fully rational beings, and life wouldn't be that fun if we were. The business i'm inventure capital, ind investing, is exactly the cross between th rational people don't start companies. And so i think part of a religious thinker and, in this case, of venture capitalist also, is to have the song,. the optimism, the soul work that pulls people's best efforts forward.
