Dog Eyes - What Muscle Gives Lassie Her Puppy Eyes?
Dogs and wolves have different physiological faces, including a reduction in slow twitch muscle fibres compared to their old ancestors. It points to the huge emphasis that humans and dogs place on mutual gaze. But what muscle is it that gives lassie her puppy dog eyes? Is it the bucinator muscle, the canonous muscle, or the levator muscle? And i can't believe that we chose lettuce and i still got the space shame.
