The Different Views of Dublin
Do you feel like the writers are all pretty consistent in how they view Dublin and how they view these areas do you see it sounds like there are certainly a lot of common themes. Are any going against the grain so to speak where you read their version of Dublin and think oh here's this is different this is someone who sees Dublin in a completely different way from what I'm used to seeing? You do find that for instance Kevin Power has a wonderful novel called Bad Day at Black Rock which is based on a kind of true incident in which a young man was was beaten to death.
