The Importance of Moral Uncertainty
I think particularly you might think that if you're a bit like me and you like have a lot of these kind of consequentialist instincts and also have some other instincts as well, you might think it seems important for us to do the thing that will lead to the best consequences. But we want to keep some pretty strong check on making sure that we don't do something that is like that seems like really bad. And just exploring or like phishing out more of these like types of arguments is just useful to make sure if we're like really confident about this thing rather than relying on one crazy EV calculation.
