The Dark Side of Chemicals in the Food Industry
Chemistry does have this dark side. I think that's why we have to be careful about the language we use in the food industry, especially where people will say chemical-free. Everything is made up of chemicals. Do you mean dangerous chemical-free? Yeah. How can we ensure that? In science, the word organic essentially means carbon-based. And so there was a generation of babies born with defects as birth defects as a result of this medicine. But actually, the US FDA did not allow for the distribution of that in America.
