I believe me, was asked to make sure that the government hospitals that a peppered the country could be paid whatever, you know, whatever they charged. The american medical association, i was led by some very outspoken of physicians back in that time,. They offered to pay what the doctors billed for the procedure, which ware two entirely different things. We can't control costs by sending the buracrats home. We have to control costs by paying the doctors less. And enof the doctors are charging us too much. Who gets to decide that? Somebody with a degree in public administration?
