I collapsed in my yard and suffered a mass of pulmonary embolism. I thought, man, what kind of mess that I leave them? My wife's going to have to go to the office. She's gonna have to fire all of our team. And she was gonna have to lock the door behind me. That would have been my legacy here. Now freedom for me means being able to step away without losing a beat,. Without losing clients, without the work... The work is actually still getting done. It's to be able to go to Miami for a week and go to a conference and share up in the saw and have things run smoothly without me.
