The Call to Listen to the Most Affected
Femi tiwo is a professor of philosophy at georgetown university. His work focuses on socialand political philosophy, with an emphasis on anti colonial thought and the black radical tradition. Tiwo compellingly argues that the norms of deference epistemology empower elits, viseve oppressed people, undermine the left's political efficacy,. enfantalize people of color as romantic caricatures rather than engaging them as comrades. This essay is among the most lucid, powerful and important i have read in a while.
