The Story of Fred and Alison Chambers

Jordan's Brook House was a Gloucester institution that housed vulnerable adolescents who had been removed from other forms of care. It became common knowledge among Jordan's Brook Girls that sanctuary could be found with Fred and Rose West. On August 5, 1979, 16-year-old Alison Chambers packed up her things and absconded from Jordan's Brook House for the eighth time in nine months. The third femur bone found under the bathroom window at 25 Cromwell Street, was identified as belonging to Alison Chambers.
