Is DeSantis Going to Lose His Fastball?
DeSantis is going to struggle, at least for a little bit, because he has to kind of attack Trump or be the alternative to Trump without being explicit about why Trump is bad. And even explicitly criticizing him as a loser, you don't really want to do that because you don't want to piss off the Trump base. It's hard to see Trump speaking at his convention. If DeSantis wants Trump to speak at his convention, will he be doing what he did in Georgia in the runoff in 2020 and sabotaging the Republican side? I just think that there are a lot of pitfalls ahead for Ron DeSantis.
