How to Optimize Your AWS Tooling
When I started about two years ago, we looked at, the first thing I looked at is like, hey, what does our tooling look like? And our engineering teams weren't using the existing tooling that we had. So one of the first things I did from a cost optimization perspective was jettison the tool that we weren't using. And then looked at, okay, what can we natively use in AWS? So we started off with cost explorer and the, the cost and usage reporting through the Athena database have been our primary tools. At some certain point will probably add more tooling to fit where their gaps. But our focus really is, okay, let's use
