I Don't Want to Pay for This Newspaper Subscription

i think that's common whenever you have a product that people don't really fully believe in, to feel the need to almost trick you into staying a customer. I personally struggle with this because i believe in journalism. Good and ethical reporting is essential to a functioning democracy. And yet, sometimes these companies make it very hard to support them. But there are examples of mediate outlets that are breaking away from the traditional ad supported model. That's not only sustainable from a business perspective, but beneficial to their relationship with their audience.
