The sheer absurdity of the conversations is really hard for people to understand. White people don't understand a lot about racism but I feel like that is one thing that they just genuinely like they expect it to make sense. Amber says she was working at a retirement home and a white coworker was trying to talk to her about race during the morning meeting. "I know exactly what this woman's next words will be and I know that they will be so racist that I'll remember them forever"
