The Importance of Scale in Publishing

Having a low cost space is a big advantage, a competitive advantage. I think in the future, scale on the publishing side is going to be more of an albatross than acompetitive advantage. You just have so much more flexibility in your models when you are so much smaller. So yeah, I look at that as like nobody's going to sue me. No one is going to sued me. They're going to sue someone else when they sue me. Chris: "I see it being a threat to different people at different parts of the ecosystem and stuff" Jay: "It should enable like me to do more and stay smaller."
