Men will often justify the open relationships that they're in by appealing precisely to these sexes narratives about how it's an innate desire in a man to run asleep around with as many people as possible. And just this notion that in an open relationship you're just, again, fucking around and instrumentalizing the people that you meet in order to fulfil whatever sexual needs, for sexual fantasies might have.
