Reversal of DOX is not recommended, but can be considered in life-threatening hemorrhage and if they were last taken less than 24 hours prior to presentation. In an elective setting, it is recommended to hold DOX for 24 to 48 hours prior to the procedure. It should be resumed 24 hours post-procedure, or 48 hours after if the procedure is associated with a high risk of bleeding.
