How to Talk to a Christian Apologist About Violence in the Old Testament
Joshua Bowen: I'm writing the chapter on the Exodus and the conquest accounts. There'll be a chapter on genocide, so looking at violence in the Old Testament. How do you talk to a Christian apologist who says things like, "Oh, well, that's just hyperbole"? Dr. Bowen: If it's not true, it matters. And we need to be unsure footing as we have those conversations.
