For a country like North Korea or Iran, invading them and changing their government would be unbelievably conventionally costly. The idea that Iran needs nuclear weapons to defend itself is bonkers. What does this do for China thinking about Taiwan? If Russia couldn't move 200,000 troops across a land border and win, how on earth are they going to conduct this complex kind of invasion?
