The Importance of Perception Experiences
The world is full of structures that give information. But there's a sense in which they're not fully transparent. If a dog looks at a petrol gauge, he won't make a discovery about how much petrol is left in the tank. So what happens when the lines look curved or people have after images? Its false information is transparent or immediately available. And that's where you get the phenomenology. Phenomenology is actually a reflection of that. The information is the whole story.
