The Making of Biblical Womanhood

The making of biblical womanhood was not a book i ever intended to write. It was sort of an act of desperation, because what i knew as a historian undermined what we were being taught in the evangelical church. And so that's one of the things i tried to show im. I call it patriarchy shapeshifts and it shape shifts according to the culture that it's in. Our modern understanding of complementarianism is patriarchy that has shape shifted to fit evangelical, southern racest cultural norms. So that's kind of the making of biblicalWomanhood in a nutshell.
