Salyaya: I remember just being struck how genuine your interest was. And then secondly, i remember you cared about the city. How and when did god move in you in that way to cause you to want to focus in on the city? Salyaya: It's an interesting kind of a journey, cause you're right, i didn't come with this vision for greater boston. So i think a few things happened. Our church was becoming increasingly diverse culturally,. so we had people from different backgrounds and neighborhoods and ethnicities. We wanted to tap into those networks where they might lead us around the city.
