Didn't Replicate Mortality Salience Effects?
Many labs for which is that they didn't replicate mortality salience effects. This suggests the original finding was either a false positive, or the conditions necessary to obtain it are not fully understood or no longer exist. I mean, i think it does tell you that in this case, author involvement doesn't matter, and that's something to know. It really suggests that, like with priming as another example, we might have these, like, completely null sub fields.
