Anin Gap Correction for Lactate Acedosis
There's no evidence that correcting for anin gap improves the sensitivity or specificity for diagnosing lactic acedosis. A normal ana gap is roughly four to 12, and you can't exclude lactas dosis using it. If you really are worrid that the patient has lacked asdosis, if you really want to check lactate asa level, just check alactievel im.
