A New Force Equation for Non Structural Components
The new force equation is based on really great research science. The rub has always been that a lot of equipment goes into existing buildings, and we don't always have drawings of existing buildings. If you don't know the lateral system of the building, if you don't have that information, you can take make some conservative assumptions. So anything i tell you next is not totally finalized.
