The Quantifiable Difference Between a Million and a Billion
The US spent over $263 billion in media advertising in 2020, which follows a trend of increasing year upon year. I don't think most people have a genuine appreciation for the quantities of scale when we're talking about billions, trillions or on the low end millions. If you're talking about having one trillion seconds, you're looking at about 32,000 years. That is the quantifiable difference between a million and a billion.
