Translators Make Mistakes
There was some controversy this translator, selina venevska, her choice is when translating schultz. She acknowledged that she made some changes to make scholtz's writing more palatable for anglophone readers. And the stories were all recently re translated by another translator, madeline g levin. So iam wondering if this translation feels ally different from the spanish versions you've read. Yes, it feels but i have like three or four versions of the sp Spanish version my head. I think you can always be comparing translations and choosing, but that's a way of reading.
