How to Treat Iron Deficiency Anemia

On this episode, we're going to be talking about iron deficiency anemia and specifically how to treat it. Dr. Michael Auerbach is a hematologist oncologist at Auerbach Hematology and Oncology Associates, Inc. in Maryland. He earned his medical degree at New York Medical College and completed an internship in residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. In 2010, with three colleagues he participated in the first educational session ever delivered on the use of IV iron at the American Society of Hematology's annual meeting.
