The Effects of Gravity on the Universe

I feel like gravity somehow counteracts this idea that entropy always wins. Well, gravity definitely obeys the same laws of thermodynamics. I mean, gravity also wants things to roll downhill. It doesn't like things having a lot of potential energy, for example. So I think it follows the same rules.
