The Good Girl Complex
I call it the good girl complex of, and it's something that doesn't serve anybody. This does not serve white women themselves either to have this idea that they have to constantly be the good girl or be perfectionists. I think for a lot of women being the good girl, they pick up an anti-racist book or they like, do the work because that means that they're a good person. But that good girl complex is rooted in white supremacy. The idea that whiteness is goodness. And when you have that so internalized and you're not like trying to root that out of yourself, I think that often that can be that.
