How to Avoid Adaptability Pitfalls
No architecture plan survives first contact with the engineers. It's better to say, here are the decisions we're making, and we assume that they're going to change over time. And if we document them, when we say, this isn't working anymore, we need to change it. Maybe our decision criteria was wrong, it was right at the time, but it no longer fits. You can just revisit that decision, and you have that as a starting point.
