What Is Extinction Rebellion?

Extinction rebellion is a global environmental movement with the stated aim of using non violent civil disobedience to compel government action on climate change. The founders were roger hallam, gale, bradbrooke, tamson omond and simon bramwell. Their main cause is to try and convince governments to act on climate and ecological disaster. They say governments must tell the truth by declaring a climate an ecological emergency. And they want citizen's assemblies created that would decide what changes should be made.
