The Bull Case for the Stock Market

On Thursday, the Federal Reserve told us looking at household net worth in the first quarter alone, January, February and March, household net worth up $3 trillion net or 2.1% in one quarter. How did that happen? The value of equity holdings came back. The stock market added to household wealth to the tune of $2.4 trillion. It would have been higher overall if not for home prices coming in.
