The History of Electrophysiology

Most of what we know about localization of function actually came from war wars in World War I, where people got shot. And lo and behold, that's they were able to map out the different parts of the cortex. But it was by the 40s, certainly things were going full blast. People could record they had a really good idea of what we're called action potentials.
