As a woman, how many times have you politely stayed quiet because culture wouldn’t allow anything else. Whether the culture came from your workplace, your family and home life, or social environment because of the country you live in, this doesn’t always have to be your reality. Sure, we’re all guilty of not speaking up at some point or another, but we can certainly agree there are extremes of being a woman forced to silence that exists in the world. Not all forms of extreme are far from home or in third world countries either.
