Bickman: I've been guilty of cognitive dissonance before when i was younger. And a lot of it was driven by just what you said. It's, they form a belief based on their own personal experience, and then they look for the science to support that. But if you're positive about it, why do you even need science to support it? If you liked it, it worked for you, it's why do you feel the need to prove that it's the best thing since sliced bread? You know, it works for you, fantastic. But just don't assume it's going to work for everybody else.
