The Work Forward Approach as a Manager
I've created a method of work called the work forward approach that directly addresses this because it was a common issue where people would be like oh I'm dealing with this problem and I want to respond right away. One of the key aspects as a manager is setting expectations at the beginning of the week. As the manager I'm just saying the what and the why so just be extremely clear on those two things and set that expectations and then give them free rain because they will make it happen.
