The DJ Droid

The DJ droid peaked up from its booth and said something I couldn't understand. Overpowering harmonies hammered through the sound system, each note rattling the cheap plastic of the tipping terminal at my table. A visor wrapped over her eyes with a transparent vid screen overlay allowing a mask of illuminated geometric shapes to conceal most of her identity. The shape shifted to bright pink hues and her fingernails pulsed with the same neon light. Green beats propelled her around the stage. When the bass dropped, a plasma hoop ignited around her waist and assumed a low orbit around her hips.
