The Theory of Anything

00:00

Is There an Asymmetry in Time?

There is an asymmetry, at least in our experience that we should, we need to explain that. The first one is the experiencialer of time: We all remember the past but don't have any access to the future. So then there's the electromagnetic arrow of time - light always moves from the past into the future. Then there is another aero, the cosmological aero of time; Universe is expanding and not contracting. And then there's also a black hole which can only be created by catastrophic events such as two neutron stars colliding or some other major event. But these solutions are predicted by generalativity so they aren't really possible.
