The Limits of LIGO and LISA
LIGO is capable of measuring gravitational waves in the tens of hertz to several kilohertz range. With LISA, we're going to space and the arm length is much, much larger. So that makes us sensitive to gravitational wave detections in the millihertzrange. It's really much, much lower. And that means that we're sensitive to also different sources.
