There's no way really to predict how fast you'll recover from your last workout. And so it doesn't make sense to think that we will always be optimately prepared for heavy squats friday, or heavy dead lifts on a t Tuesday. If you do all those things mostly right, you are not to be perfect, but just mostly right, then your body gets fitter and stronger.
