The Four Measurables
In the early, earliest buddhist tradition, these are often described as the brahma vaharas the divine abodes. The idea is that if you start with equanimity, you kind of can remove some of the, or work with some of the initial prejudices that we all have. So i want to run through each of these four immeasurables and just give a brief like, sketch, you know, just a little minny sketch each of these.
