I'm Not Going to Give Malthus the Benefit of the Doubt
Malthus was wrong. He didn't have the kind of data to rely on that we have. More importantly, he's a cleric. Or was he? I didn't know that. And let's give Malthus the benefit of the doubt. That was not an unreasonable thing to think. It really wasn't. It was plausible. If there was nothing crazy about what he said, then when young people say it today, they're not crazy either.
