The Power Asymmetries in the Arts and Creative Labor Markets
Roxanne Jones: I think a lot of it really boils down to those power asymmetries, right? She says people that drive for Uber or do gig economy work don't have as much power in the labor market. And so they're having to depend on these, you know, vultures that will scoop them up; similar things happening in arts and creative labor markets. Jones: You can say, well, well, if you love what you do, then you shouldn't have to be paid for.
