The Importance of Emotional Preparation for the Bat Mitzvah

I was reminded when my daughter turned ten, it actually made me really emotional. I think the difference is for me because we're Jewish and she will have a bat mitzvah. In a couple of years time, I think that's sort of the seminal point of the childhood to adulthood in my head rather than the 10 birthday. How's her Hebrew?
