Can You Make More Than 100% on a Short?
Hindenburg's is a hedge fund that has shorted the companies of the Adani group. They put out a report accusing the conglomerate of raising stock manipulation, accounting fraud schemes over the course of decades. If it goes down to zero, you've made everything that you sold the stock for. So shorting is capped in terms of its upside. You can only make 100% on your short.
